I'm running the FlashPanorama app with this great Hotspot plug-in within Flex and AIR applications. I have 2 questions:

1. the onClick="openUrl:http://www.mysite.com/" isn't working, presumably because I've wrapped the FP inside the other apps. So, what is the output variable that Hotspot provides that I can plug into my apps?

2. on what i believe is a related issue, how can make a static hotspot close the FP application?

thanks.

Maybe i found my problem, i cannot go forward after the second step, i mean i have every files i need and i can create a myPano.xml (of course with the name of my panorama), but when i make the spots.xml my hotspots are not working!!!
It's something like spots.xml is invisible to the myPano.xml.

I'm asking you help!!!
Thank you very much.

Please help me, thank you really a lot!!!

I love your product...just recently purchased. It is exactly what I was looking for. I am trying to do a simple hotspot....is there something wrong with this syntax?

	loaderText =
	layer_1 = glassMeter.swf
	layer_2 = menuFullscreen.swf
	layer_3 = autorotator.swf
	layer_4 = hot_spots.swf

	speed = -0.5
	pause = 2000

Can't seem to get hotspots working.
Thanks, Tom H.

No, Rudi, it wasn't. I like Papervision, but it is too slow for specific tasks like panoramas. This is an original "specially for spherical panoramas" engine.

To answer my own query...I have been doing a bit of research and yes I am finding that the most convenient way is actually to have the buttons bypass the loaded panoramaplayer application and use a reference to an singleton controller (which they would anyway) in order to talk to the main application framework.

So the approach I am thinking of taking is to use flash panoramas (which I am thrilled with by the way) to handle the animation within the panorama and have the application framework handle application interface animation around the panorama.

Is it true btw that flash panoramas was built on papervision??
