Editor plugin v1.0 beta

Editor plugin is designed to work together with Hotspots plugin.
Open example (previous panorama application with Editor plugin).

Actually Editor plugin is a part of future GUI for Flash Panorama Player. But it is useful as well for FPP customers as a simplest way to set up hotspots over the panorama image.

If you are still not a customer, this example provides you a possibility to play with Flash Panorama Player objects and parameters, to watch them in action.

Currently Editor plugin can’t change scripts used in panorama application (i.e. you can’t change the behaviour of photos in the example). But you can estimate control points for item motion and use this data in manually created scripts.

Short tips for Editor plugin:

  1. The plugin panel is dragable up and down.
  2. The plugin doesn’t track items realtime, so if you change the item outside the plugin (run some script, for example), press refresh button before changing item parameters.
  3. Button “copy XML” copies the current item XML to system clipboard.
  4. Plugin keyboard shortcuts: “r” - refresh, “c” - copy, “f” - find, “[" - previous item, "]” - next item.

Editor plugin is a part of Flash Panorama Player v2.1.

  7. Help, please.

When I install editor.swf and the suggested parameter in the pano.XML file, I see the editor in the pano.swf image …. but it displays no data and no buttons function.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Many thanks.

  8. Hi All,

I’ve just finished integrating panorama editor into our cms. It loads automatically all assets – cms objects previously assigned to ‘Panorama Item’ – another type of object in our CMS.
It display selected panorama - load all assets (video and images). User is able to do all that stuffs possibly to be done from editor plugin then copy/past xml file to textarea inputs in our cms redefining positions of assets in panorama. The rest is done in background (xml file is regenerated, paths are set etc.).

ufff… sorry for that long introduction :)
so the point is: to omit copy/past from editor to cms the idea is: to replace in editor plugin the ‘copy xml’ functionality with something like ‘make a call to web service providing xml content and an id of hotspot’.

It shouldn’t be to difficult - If I had that plugin codes I could do it in 5 minutes.
Is there any possibility to overwrite functionality of ‘copy xml button’ or is there any other possibility to implement my idea?
    Thank you for any help
