close box

OK I have figured out most of my issues, now I need to make a close box in the upper right corner of the pano. How do I do that?

I know I make a hotspot id line but what other code do I use?

The VRs come up in new browser window, so that's what I need to close. There are 5 sections of the tour I'm working on so each section opens in a new window when called by the html. I just want the viewers to be able to close that window when they are finished with the VRs.

Are you opening up the window using a Javascript, or from a 'regular' link?

If opening with Javascript, then you can reliably close the window using a Javascript call. Something like onClick="javascript:window.close()", from a hotspot.

These messages are most likely made by spambots. Automated program that registers as a "member" to the forums, and then it posts "x" amount of spam for us all to admire and be pleased with. Trying to communicate with the "poster" isn't going to work at all.

I have emailed Denis and urged him to make sure we have some effective daily defense to counter these things, if only to delete these posts. Today is extremely bad... and we can only expect this to become worse now that the spambots have found this place. I mentioned you (izoneguy) (and me) as a willing and able moderator material, along with expressing the need for Discocandy to have the needed permissions to delete spam and post stickies and announcements etc.... but of course it is up to Denis to decide what to do and when to do it.

The forums are very ugly to view today because of the spam.
