Hello,

I have looked at all the usual places and cannot
find flash buttons that are ready for use in FPP.
I went to Flash den and downloaded some...
but I am not a flash guy and they won't work??
Probably some AS or something else??

Anyone want to sell me some buttons??

I just need a few arrows pointing in different directions,
just trying to go beyond the typicall .png buttons.

Thanks

I am not sure what you mean by "flash buttons"? Basically, you'd have some sort of image (whether it's a JPEG or a PNG) and would link it to some action by making it a hotspot in the pano's XML, right? So -- you could simply make your own images exactly the way you want your buttons to look -- what am I missing?

If you need something special, just PM me and we could speak about it further off-list.

Regards, Ph.

No need for Flash iZoneGuy... I animated these simple looping buttons (arrows and info spots - www.screenstar360.com) in AE, exported as looping .swf. Tiny files. Simple.

what does "AE" stand for?

AE = After Effects....
And yes I created some buttons in AE and they work fine...
But I would still like to figure out how to use
buttons created in Flash that have effects in FPP.

If you have access to the buttons' Flash file, or make your own -- reference the tutorial (including FLA downloads) at http://www.flashpanos.com/content/rotating-nadir-image-bottom-cap .

This shows Jaaaab's method of accessing FPP from a SWF, plus other things. It's not directly related to a button, but does show the logic needed (a la "hotspots.execute").

Cheers,
