Hi,
as far as I understand your software, I have to use panoStripe if I have only one (360 degrees pano) jpg file as source photo. I copied the panoStripe swf file to a folder containing a jpg file (dimensions: 18691 * 576 pixels, 3.86 Mb file size), and renamed the swf file so as to be the same as the name of the jpg file. Nothing happens if I click on the swf file.... What am I doing wrong?
Kind regards, John van Hulst

John,
I have exactly the same problem. I posted below but without any response yet. Could someone show me WORKING example of the stripe version using JUST 1 image?

Yes. You are totally right.
Looks like the current version of Adobe Flash can't load bitmaps with pixel dimention more then 128MB. I.e. the max size for stripe is 16380x2730. I did't know about this restriction, and there is no info about it in Adobe documentations.
Also I remind that maximum size for cube face is 2880x2880.

whatever I do, the panostripe.swf doesn't work. I tried a file with dimensions 14018 x 432, which is smaller than you mention, and not exceeding 128 Mb at all. In fact, with ANY single file I choose, the result is that a little (green) square shows at the top left corner of the flash player, like a thumbnail, that's it. What now?

My understanding is that only cube faces are supported which means the strip must have proportional dimensions of 6:1.

it supports as well 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1. 4:1 is useful for cylinders, other variants are for other not full panoramas with borders.
