Yesterday our Playstation 3 downloaded a new software update (2.5), which I noticed moved its customised built-in Flash Player to version 9.0.124 (a big leap from its previous version, which I think was somewhere in the 7s). The main plus from this is support for H264 video in Flash, but of course it also means that Flash Panorama Player now works in the PS3 browser! Performance is pretty abysmal, I can't work out how to zoom the panorama using the PS3 controller, and it runs out of memory with large cube faces, but the fact that it's there at all is quite a step forward.

I don't own an PS3 (still enjoing my PS2), but how much memory does it have?, I supose that it should have lots of processing power and Video Ram.

According to Wikipedia and About.com, there's only 256MB of main RAM, which would explain things. I'd also guess that the Flash implementation doesn't have access to hardware acceleration, though I can't be sure.
