I downloaded a trial version of Flash CS3, and I found where to add a video source file under the parameters.
I would need to have the video local correct? I can not longer use a YouTube video?
Is there still away to use a YouTube video - or is there a way to download a YouTube video I do not own?
What video sources can I use?

As I pointed in hotspots.html manual, direct links to youtube video can be used as a "spot" (undistorted hotspots), but can't be used as a "box" (distorted hotspots) because of security restrictions (to make distortions, the player needs an access to raw video data).
So there are 3 ways:
1. Copy youtube videos to your own domain.
2. Make some proxy script (php or something working on your server side) to take youtube video and translate it to Flash Player.
3. Ask Google to add your domain to trusted domains ( http://www.youtube.com/crossdomain.xml ). :)

Ah, I just encountered the security sandbox restriction, using "box" with a YouTube video.
Not to be TOO much of a boy scout, but option #1 in Denis's post has the potential for getting you into trouble. See the YT FAQ:

Kevin> download "Internet Video Convertor"
with this soft you can copy a youtube video (with its url) then download it and convert it to flv format.
Then you can use it with your panorama and flvplayer plugin :D

Kevin (if you're even following this thread anymore :) )--
You can use YouTube videos directly from the YouTube URL, no problem; what you can't do that way is distort the video along x/y/z.
To distort the video along x/y/z you need to have it as local to your Web server.
I'd be careful of downloading, converting and implementing a YouTube video (read: Google Property) in one of your Web apps/tours -- especially a commercial venture. If you're going to do that, I'd recommend Denis's option #3.
And, PS -- what, no more spinControl?! :-P

well the best way to download a video from youtube is through a site called keepvid.com and you just enter the youtube url and you're done.
or just do a google search

Don't know if I'm better starting a new thread or tagging on here but I'm trying to put a YouTube video into a tour and get nothing. Am I missing something? I tried a simple spot with the url.
Any thoughts?

Adrian,
what happens if you paste this spot into your xml file:
<spot id="youtube" url="http://www.youtube.com/v/6mvZlc5QkyQ?fs=1&hl=sv_SE&rel=0" static="1" salign="TL" salign="TL" staticX="100" staticY="10" />
