Hi,
I've been having a look at your flash player today, and I found that the snow scene pano small and full size worked fine. But when trying the concert hall scene I found that when I dragged on the screen it didn't function the same as the snow scene full screen.
It seemed to lag and I had to 'drag' a lot more on the scene to get it to move in the same way as the snow scene one.

is there meant to be a difference between the 2 players?
I have tested it in both IE and firefox and got the same 'problem' in both browsers.

There is no difference in players, the difference is in settings.

The player has a flexible system of quality settings (at least 3 parameters are charged with the final image quality, including panorama image resolution).

Let's see, the snow scene has "segments" parameter equal to 10. I.e. the panorama player is using 600 polygons to render the whole scene. The concert hall scene has a lot of small details and I set the "segments" parameter to 25 (3750 polygons for the final scene).

Also note that the scenes have different mouse behaviour.

This is interesting... Now how is it possible to have low res preview and change the preload visuals?

Actually, this is another format: "panorama container" (player, pictures, sound and spots within). We are developing an authoring tool to make panorama container offline and publish it as a single file. This is a test.

Hostpots plugin can be used to make low-quality preview.
