White lines at cube face seams

I am having a problem with white lines at the seams where the cube faces fit together. I remember something about this being posted before, but I couldn't find the old posting. I think I remember that the width and height of the individual cube faces must be a multiple of six (6), but I'm using 1026x1026 and still getting seams. What can I do to make sure that I no longer get white lines in my seams?

are you sure those white lines are not caused by your stitching program or your cube converter program?

It happened to me, when I applied a sharpen mask on the cubic or the 6 faces. Do your sharpen mask on the spheric and then convert to cubic, if it is the real problem.

Yannis, you are correct. I sharpened after I made the stripe. Now I know not to do that! Thank you for your wisdom.
