Young company needs help!!

Hello all,

I need some help. Sorry future e-mails will be shorter. We are a new company and thanks to the new player business is taking off. We are running in to problems that are time sensitive. In some cases if our problems are more involved and outside technical assistance is needed we will gladly look at tasks on a contract basis.


The person that is doing my player work is Kevin so you will see us asking questions together. He is technical, I am not, but I will be posting questions some times and he will in most cases be interpreting your answers or answering questions you may have.

Ok Now with it,

When I use the controller for navigation and I am looking down and I switch to the next scene it is looking down also. We can not control the parameters of the controller as we can the internal hotspots by setting a controlled starting point.

When scenes are switched with the controller I need to be able to control starting position. So that each scene will start same place ever time switched.

Also my images have two much shimmer. I need some help in that area of processing. Please contact me if any one has a solution. I need some processing training.

Well that's a lot of help asked!!

All i can say is every answer you're lookin for is in the technical documentation of the player, particurlarly on "hotspot plugin parameter".

Let me be more specific for Mike with regards to one area, I have looked at the hotspot plugin parameters... and I can create internal hotspot that when click always start you at the same starting points.

But what I am unsure about is how to set these parameter with the controller.swf. Do I pass the parameters for the starting pan/tilt, etc. in the parameter area in Flash? Where you reference the images and their names as they appear in the controller. Or in the Action Script? (Action Script programming is new to me, but I did look at it and changed the transitions from stripes to fade).
