Hi all, I have just moved from PC to Mac and am not sure what software to go for.
Previously I have been using PTGui into Pano2QTVR, exporting cubes and into fpp. I am not sure if Pano2VR exports to cubes or if infact there is an easier way? Does Flashificator let me import straight in from the equirectangular image produced in PTGui?
Also what do people prefer PTGui for Mac or PTMac?

Most of us thinks PTGui is the best. I choosed between that and AutopanoPro, PTGui won of some minor reason I can't remember now (more manual control I guess).
Though PTGui can't export cubes but Hans Nyberg has made templates that do it in a minute, or two.
Flashificator I can't answer on.

Hi Adrian,
yep PTGui as Jochum said, plus Pano2Vr works great on a Mac :)
Flashificator is a great tool, it accepts averything FPP does. I wouldn't advise you to use equi's with FPP. cubes or mov's works best in my experience :)
hope it helps

Thanks guys, appreciate that. So I stick with PTGui which presumably won't be too different and I'll get the new version of pano2vr. This will keep my workflow the same but I thought it was worth asking now there are more options available for me on mac.

PTGui actually now has a cubeface generator in the latest version 8.2.
Its in the Tool menu under QTVR converter.
Unfortunatelly the naming is only front, back, bottom etc.
I believe if he should just use 1 standard it should be _f _b _d
But it has batch converting.
Pano2VR is OK but bad interface in my opinion. Batch converting to cubefaces has to be done using a droplet and the transformation option.
If you use Enfuse you should get Bracketeer which is very easy to use.
You also get the Panopreviewer plugin in the price which I use all the time to see the panorama as interactive panorama in Photoshop.
