Guys, I haven't finished this yet but I'm so excited about the results of this I wanted to post the link straight away!
http://axis.uk-virtualtours.co.uk/development/
My business partner did the footage on blue screen (chroma key) and converted it to flv. I struggled getting her into the tour and then opened flashificator, pulled her in that way, then exported the code I needed. Thanks Trausti, this program payed for itself in this one job ;)
I wasn't happy with the colour matching so I found controls in fpp to change the saturation, tint, contrast etc and am pretty pleased with the results!
I just want to set a delay and tweak the initial panning and we're away.
What do you think guys? How does it look on your screens? Constructive criticism welcome.

You should be very pleased! Looks very nice. If anything, the brightness of the woman speaker video might be a tad higher, if it is to match the other people in the pano, but it is not something that has to be done or that sticks out like a sore thumb in any way or form. I like it very much.
How did you match the table's curved line to cover her lower body/arms so well?
And of course a polite thank you for the positive words about FFC being helpful in this project. :)

This is really great Adrian!
It sure adds a new dimension to the pano.
And personally, I really liked seeing such a nice and professional work in connection with the Axis company...

Thought I know how to do this but does anyone know how to put a delay on her starting until after the rotate?
I have this code that rotated the tour
onStart="external.autorotator.disabled+=1;move_reception();"
move_reception="pano.pan=109,5000;pano.zoom=0.9,4000; "
Not sure if it should go here or add a timer call on the hotspot itself?
Any thoughts?!?

Adrian. You should disable cacheAsBitmap for the video hotspots.
Why? Well, that will make sure that the video will start playing with the sound, and not have the sound only for the first second(s) of the playing time.
Next version of FFC will have that as default.

Thanks Trausti, but where are you getting that? Here's my code for the hotspot
<box
id="receptionist"
linked="images/1"
url="files/ffc_flvplayer.swf"
orientation="sphere"
depth="2"
hue="-0.04"
saturation="0.48"
brightness="0.02"
tint="0.21"
tintColor="#FF6600"
sharpness="5"
pan="109.71853540568851"
tilt="-0.5"
rotationX="17.17"
scaleX="0.84"
scaleY="0.84"
refreshRate="24"
file="images/receptionist.flv"
auto="1"
loop="0"
control="0"
togglePause="0"
stopHide="0"
/>
Any thoughts on the delay?

The delay of the video you mean? That is seemingly caused by the default settings in FPP's plugin, but by disabling the cacheAsBitmap (set it to "0" in the xml), the video should run without a delay.
Updated version of FFC is out, finally able to Flashificate into Flash 10 projects (pano.swf version 2.3.1 ... you need to read the version info (version 2.046) to get the full info). When videos are used with FFC now, the cacheAsBitmap is automatically disabled, to prevent this video delay issue. At least my programmer is sure that was the problem.

What I mean by the delay is that I want the tour to open, pan 90 degrees, stop at the receptionist and then have her start talking. The panning takes 5 seconds so this would be the desired delay. I'm just not sure how to add it.
Does that make more sense?

I'm just working with a similar project. I have made a script which tracks the panos x-coordinates. When it reaches a spesific coordinate the video starts playing and stops again when the video is outside the viewing area. I'm going to use many video clips so it's important for me to make them start and stop.

Did you use the flvplayerx.swf or the regular flv player?

The creator of one of the most popular FPP tours on the net at:
http:// www.stadtmaus.de/halloween-special
decided to share his plugins developed for the above project.
If you haven't yet tried them go to google group and check them out.
They are awesome.
You can find the plugins and description on FPP google group:

Hi Adrian
Is this panorama example still available somewhere online? I think it is amazing, and I would love to show it to a couple of potential customers to see if they might be interested in something similar.

Thanks Jordi.
But unfortunately it is not the tour this thread was Adrian made.
The tour he made with the talking person was a woman standing behind the reception talking to people.

sorry for not coming back sooner, yes the tour is now live here http://www.azlan.com/vt/index.htm
and you can find the link on this page (just to prove they are using it):

Now this thing has finally gone live after months of hard work, can I express a massive amount of thanks, without wishing to sound too much like an Oscar winner, to Tommy (allSaints) without whom I don't think I could have made this beast come together.
