Hi,
I have been looking for a flash player that handles equirectalgular images that does not have distortions and love your flash player, however as it handles cubic images I am looking for some way to do an online cubic conversion from equirectalgular to cubic and after reading a few previous posts (http://flashpanoramas.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159) .... I discovered that you have a flash based cubic converter... is this correct? If so how does it work? (http://flashpanoramas.com/player/examples/cylTest.swf)

I understand this is possible not the best way to do things however is there some way to intergrate this cubic conversion swf to handle equirectalgular images and still control hotpots using XML but do it completely online?

If this is possible how can I achieve this. If its not possible could I pay someone to develop it for me?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Wayne

Wayne, you can easily convert your equirectangular images using software like PanoCube or Pano2QTVR.

Hi there, just bought FPP today so am very new to this. I have a bunch of equirectangular images generated from 2 fisheye images, and am looking for an offline converter. Would you be able to email me that Photoshop plug-in or let me know where I can get it from? I have Photoshop 6.

Many thanks

We can't beat "free" can we?

But a good alternative is found here: http://outerspace-software.com/bixorama.html

I did have my ideas translated into changes between version 1.0 and 1.1

A very good program.

you could also try To cube?
A program made by Roberto Gómez Torres.

http://www.tiempo-digital.com/en/software/tocube/tocube.html

Right now he is working on a new version including batch proccesing!
It works like a charm and pretty fast! 0.8 is usable for vista.

It was a free program but If I understand he will ask a little money $10.- or so for the program.
Try the free demo. it works but only converts into grey.
