This is my first project, I am using Flashificator for it. I am having a few problems:

1. It seems when I fade between panos I get a weird ghosting effect if I try to "look around" prematurely and then it snaps back into place when the load completes...how do I fix this...leash?

Second, Im linking to several external slideshows (monoslideshow) externally in a new window. I would love to integrate the slideshows into the FPP but dont really know how. They all use the same xml file name so cannot be in the same dir...I could probably edit the sml filename in flash but still do not know how to load the slideshow swf into FPP. I tried loading the slideshow as a hotspot in flashificator but the slide show did not appear. Any coding help or slideshow suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Third, since I am linking out to external slideshows how do I link back to a specific pano in the slideshow so FPP doesnt completely reset everytime the user comes back from a slideshow.

Thanks so much, any other suggestions are quite welcome :)

The "ghosting" is occurring because you are moving the panorama in between the grey scale preview and the fully loaded panorama. I want to say this is not something you can change but I may be wrong.

If you are using FFC I am 99% percent sure there is a slide show plugin you could use for your project. The 1% uncertainty is only because I haven't used it although I know for a fact I have seen it in the "plugins" area of the program.

I would restrict your view so you don't see the giant hole in the top and bottom of the pano.

Other than that if I could offer a bit of advice and this is purely my opinion, and that would be to make your hotspots considerably smaller. In my view they are far to distracting in the panorama.

Congrats on the first project BTW.

Ghosting can be fixed. I need to tutorialize that in the forums. Drop me a PM in the FFC forums, and I'll organize a fix for you.

There is a native FFC Slideshow plugin that ships with FFC. No, it can not take resources from slideshows outside the project, but it is pretty flexible. You can have multiple images showing from the same slideshow, have different sized slide show windows placed as you want within the static screen. The slideshow can not be distorted into place inside the pano, but neither can other slideshows I have seen. I would like it to be able to do that, but until now focus has been on other issues.
You can customize your own buttons to be used for the slideshow, making it fit your own pano-design in general.

Regarding your nadir and zenith black holes, you should apply LIMITS to those. You are using a cylindrical .mov file for the pano?

PM sent to you Terry.

The ghosting is going to be killed once and for all in the next few days.
