Hi !!

I would like to implement a contact form in the virtual tours, I've seen an example from nidrig (http://www.36one.net/chalet/index.html), which is very nice and useful at the same time...

On the other hand I've found a form (http://activeden.net/item/php-contact-form/16385) that may be useful for this case, but I would like to ask if the back php functionality would cause any conflict with the FPP engine...

Now I was thinking that maibe the plugin from Tommy Panoform (http://wirestam.com/panos/Flash/panoform/panoform2.html), also could be used for this functionality of sending mails, but I'm not really sure...

Thanks so much

Jordi,

No, my panoform plugin is made to emulate a web form, which has nothing to do with email. A web form works just like a web link, except that you can choose parameter values yourself.

Of course, you can always pop open the viewers email client and paste the data into an email, or send it to a server and generate an email there.

Thanks for the quick reply Tommy!

ok so then I will try to add one of this contact forms (http://activeden.net/searches?term=contact+form&type=files) with php in the back that I have found in flashden :(

do you know if it's better the ones written in AS2 or in AS3 ??

No, functionally there is probably no difference, but personally, I wouldn't touch AS2 code without gloves and a rubber mask... :)

Uops, I'm not AS expert or even begginer, so I'll try to make it as easy as possible.. And as I even don't have the gloves and a rubber mask I will buy the AS3 one..

Thanks and hope it will work

AS2 forms with php works fine, really. I also integrated a RSS in as2 here (http://www.36one.net/flon/index_s3_net.html). Works fine also.

Hola Hombre
Como estas? (and you know that is all the Spanish I know, so the rest of the message will be in English he he)

I love your contact form. It looks amazing. When building a tour it is all about the total viewing experience, and your contact form is definately the most posh one I have seen.

One note about the tour. You hotspots are very small, it is almost hard to see them. I think you would benifit from making them a bit bigger. And perhaps use arrows so people know what they mean? Just a thought :)

Morten

No problem Jordi. It's more important to focus on current jobs :)

If you will keep us updated when you have had the time to look at it, I will surely appreciate it.
