Hi,

I would like to know how to insert clock showing real time into the pano. I have seen it a few times and I would like to use it in my new tour.
If there are more clocks on the wall - is it possible they each will show real time of a different time zone?

Thanks

Juraj,

you have to have a clock plugin, and that plugin can show any time you want - depending on the plugin code.

Let me rephrase that - you can do with an ordinary Flash clock, but if you want it to interact with FPP, it has to be a plugin.

If you are looking for a one click clock creation for FPP:

http://flashificator.com/1/Clocks/

If you want to have different times on the clocks, for NOW, you can do that by changing the angle of the arms for the individual clocks, since the clocks created, with the arms provided, only show local time of the viewer.

But if you rotate the arms 90°, you have changed the time by 3 hours. 180° 6 hours etc.

Flashificator would be your best and fastest choice. You can build your very own clocks with only a few clicks, using either provided faces, frames, arms and glass, or make your very own clock parts to use. All without doing any coding. Just click and go.

Tommy,

Does any plugin like that exist? Free or paid one?

And here is a clock plugin that I played with. Nothing fancy - just to show that it works and can be controlled from FPP.

Test page is here (http://wirestam.com/panos/Flash/clocks/clocktest1.html).

OK,

I have just bought the Flashificator, but after unpacking the zip file there is nothing like flashificator.exe file (there are many *.swf files but not a single exe file). How should I run the application?

First of all, download and install Adobe AIR (http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-AIR).
Then double click the .air file from the Flashificator package for installing.

You will be asked to copy 4 FPP files into the installation folder. Do that and you are good to go.

If you still haven't got version 2.3.1 of FPP's pano.swf, you should request access to the FPP Google Groups and download the "Essential" package from the "File" section there.

You can absolutely use the program without version 2.3.1, even when it "nags" you about having it applied.

You can do what Trausti recommended, but it is not necessary.
Start by reading tutorials and study examples.
You have all you need to begin.

As Hamlet would have said it in Shakespear's words:

To use an Ass or a Ferrari to move around, when given the chance.

That is the question.

People can dig a water well with shovels, it's been done throughout history, but with new and better technology, it can be done much faster and better.

Both methods work. Those who have chosen to have both options, are free to choose what they prefer.
