Rocklang festival 2007

Hi all,

I am a french panographer, and last weekend i made my first panoreport for a french little festival in Britanny.

Made with: pentax istDL, fisheye 10-17mm, 300N, manfrotto tripod, home-made panoramic head.
I use flashpanorama player for more interactivity with sound and my others shows pictures.

Hi Vincent, very impressive. I think you have done an excellent job, especially in the low light conditions and high contrast lighting invovled (stage lighting).
My only critiscism (and purely personal) is the colour of the page background and yellow text, not to my taste at all, but that is only because I hate pinks.
Excellent, I would be interested in knowing a bit more about your shooting techniques under these adverse conditions.

Jeff, thanks for your comments.
For the color of the background, it is the background color of the festival poster, i want to stay in the same colors with the yellow too.
My workflow for shooting is:
- taking good parameters for the light i have.
- fixing the tripod and the camera on it.
- shooting and pray that lights doesn't change during the shoot sequence :rolleyes:
- i take 6 pictures for the horizontal band
- one for the zenith
- one for the nadir in one direction
- one for the nadir in 180° over
- and the last with the tripod moved from the previous center by half a meter

I shoot in RAW, so i extract my pictures with RAW Shooter Premium, stitch in PTgui, tripod mask in photoshop, final equirectangular picture in pano2qtvr

Hello Vincent

I like all your work, you made a lot of panorama shoots in one night !
There is a thing in the Ko & Josephine panorama, the picture on the right bottom, on click, goes in front of screen, but the other picture on the left bottom stay in front of front (oh my poor English). Hop you understand !
I don't know how to organise "layers" for hotspots in Panorama Flash Player yet. I you have any idea...

Seems we are both together from Poland...

For this panorama, i miss to update the depth parameter from 10 to 20 for my function which goDown my picture. Check the xml file and the depth parameter for each spot:

nice work! How big are the files to be needing the black and white preloader?

As an idea you should try the 3d sound effect to make it quieter as you look away. Just an idea.

Thanks adrian for your idea. I will work on that soon, when i could make the mp3player plugin working good, all my attemps crashed.
