I once saw a panorama where somebody had included a video recording of a receptionist appearing at the reception.

The receptionist was shot at some sort of green screen, as she appeared to be a natural part pf the panorama.

I want to suggest this feature to a hotel, but I can't find the example anymore. Can anybode remember what I am talking about, and perhaps provide me with a link?

Yes exactly. That was just what I was looking for.

Now imagine that you could offer such a feature to potential hotel clients. That must be a persuasive argument / feature, don't you think? Or would it require too much of the hotel? I imagine it should be the hotel manager who is making the introduction, but most hotel managers don't know what to say or how to present them self in front of a camera.

Now I just have to find a suitable camera (I am looking at this one http://www.techdigest.tv/2009/08/canons_top-end.html but it's pricy..... )and a blue/green screen and learn how to shoot and edit videos..........

I use a Canon T1I which is an SLR that shoots Hd video (@ 20fps) and is all the camera most people need, its fantastic for panos (2 second timer, live view). 2 birds 1 stone.

I haven't had a chance to insert video into a pano with it. It seems you could just shoot the video right after/before shooting the pano while leaving the tripod and cam set up in the same spot. You may have to crop your video and rotate it, but you can skip the bluescreen/chroma key business and the lighting/brightness/color adjustments to make it look like it was there...because it WAS there.

Anyway that is how I would/will eventually do it.
