ATTENTION:
I also posted this question on the Panoguide forum to get as much advice as possible. I hope you are alright with that :)
Hellow everybody
I have just bought a videocamera. The idea is that I want to start adding a presenter in the tours. The hotel manager, restaurant hostess, a receptionist or someone else who welcomes the viewer and perhaps tell a bit about the company.
Now that I have to start I am wondering how to shoot the video. I imagine there are 2 options:
1) I record the presenter on a green screen and add him/her to the tour.
2) I set up the video camera right next to my 360gear and shoot the video from the same position. Later I then edit in the presenter.
Does any of you have experience with either of these methods?
I have seen this example: http://www.azlan.com/vt/index.htm
Here Adrian had someone else shoot the prensenter using a green screen, and the result is absolutely amazing!
But it seems like a very hard way to do it. I would imagine that there is a huge challenge with the lightning when you shoot the presenter at the clients location. You can't control the lights and that might make it very hard to edit out the green screen. Or so I imagine...
But I guess if I shoot the presenter from the same angle as the camera, I will also have a hard time blending the video seamlessly.
What to do - what to do???
Regards
Morten
