this which is diplayed using Java?

I'm new here and have been directed by many folks to try FPP.

First, I'm not a Flash person(in otherwords-I've never done anything with it).
Second, I don't own Flash(the program, not the viewer) and am wondering if its possible to produce the kind of thing I need without using the actual Flash program.

My example is using PTViewer and a bunch of HTML code.
Also-I would like to second or third or whatever number is up on the desire to be able to use Equirectangles instead of cube-faces.
From what I've read on this forum, download times aren't that slow.
If this works, I'll add a third option for viewing players in my gallery.

Thanks

Sure it's possible.
You can do this and much more, but I think you will need some programming skills (XML at least).

But where to start on XML self-training?
Any beginner direction would be gratefully accepted.

What I shared with you was the depth of my "programming" skills.
Basically HTML controls for the tour-positioning of images and hotspots, FOV limits, PTViewer parameters, etc....

I'm guesss XML is close but different as it resides in a separate file?
