Hi every body.
At my recent job I created a tour using Easypano´s TW1.3 as per request from the client.
You can see it here:
http://wideeyes.dk/tours/park/parktest.html
With the help from Kevin from new Spin 360 (thank you so much for your help Kevin. It would not be possible without your help) I have also started to make the tour with Flash Panoramas.
I just thought that some of you could be interested in seeing the difference in a "regular" tour and a full screen tour with the same scenes.
The fullscreen tour is here:

This is a very nice tour Morten.
And nice how you show the difference between the Immervision and FPplayer interface. That was exactly how I feld it when I started my virtual tour about La Palma.
If I may give you one suggestion... try to use a 24bit PNG Nadir plate with your logo at the bottom, with smooth edges. The little stairs at the edges are so ugly and breaks down the rest of the so nice panotour. Just my opinion.
Best regards,
Yvan

Hi Yvan
Thank you for the compliment.
Yes I know the tripod image is not hte best, but I did not know that I could improve it by inserting a png image. Thank you for the advice, I will definately do that.
Oh and by the way. The first tour is produces with Easypanos Tourviewer and not Immervision as you refer to :)
By the way I love the La Palma Tour. You must tell us how you made the map sometime. The navigation of the map is awsome and amazingly user friendly.
Best regards

Hi Morton,
Stupid from me not to thoroughly read your post. Indeed Immervision is also capable of showing full screen pano's with their G2 engine.
Thank you for your compliment about my 1st panotour.
The map of La Palma is stitched with images from Google Earth. That was the easy part. The rest is a lot more complicated and to dificult to explain on this forum. Here are the rough lines...
- I builded a Database in Filemaker pro with the hotspot (pano) locations.
screenshot here: http://www.birdseye.be/df/ss_fmpro.jpg
Everything about the pano: files, description, hostpot type, hotspot location on the map, Google links,... is defined here.
to easily find the correct hotspot position on the map, I builded this flash file:
http://www.lapalma-virtualtour.nl/hspos.htm
Then the whole database file is exported to an XML file.
Here a piece of code of the xml file:
<pano>
<ID>35</ID>
<IVP>pano_35.htm</IVP>
<name>De Pico de Bejenado</name>
<xpos>612</xpos>
<ypos>381</ypos>
</descr>
<typeHS>3</typeHS>
<LAT>N 27 15,0000</LAT>
<LONG>W 15 36,0000</LONG>
<lnkURL>http://www.lapalma-wandelen.nl/caldera.html</lnkURL>
<lnkDescr>Hier meer info over wandelingen in de Caldera</lnkDescr>
<HSzichtbaar>Nee</HSzichtbaar>
<GElink>http://maps.google.com/?hl=en&q=Belgium&ie=UTF8&om=1&t=k&ll=28.693138,-17.877953&spn=0.006428,0.010042&z=17</GElink>
</pano>
- The xml file itself is then parsed in flash and the hotspot are generated on the map.
This is very quickly explained a work of several months :)
Greetz,
yvan.

Well..... that sounds way too complicated for me to even think about doing *lol* But it is a great way to show the area.
Actually I have see a couple similar projects where the concept is the same.
The first one I saw a couple of years ago was from Carl @ www.24-7grp.co.uk who have made this tour:
http://www.virtualscarborough.co.uk/highres/hrtowntour.html
Another and more recent example is my good frind Garry @ 360panoramics.co.uk. He have made a great tourist site for his local area using MS maps (like google maps). You can find it here: http://www.explorenewarkandsherwood.co.uk
Best regards

Nice job Morten, I thought the same as Yvan without seeing his comment that your tripod cap lets an otherwise great tour down. The tabs work really well.
I must say I also love the La Palma Tour, the music is so soothing too.
