I'm a new FlashPanorama User and even though it is having some problems with ZoneAlarm... I really like it. I myself have written a small viewer in SwishMax (In no way compareable to the greatness of FlashPanorama) BUT... I have a feature which I think... really makes it simple to view = "Just Mouse Over" to scroll the Panorama (NO click and hold then move mouse... I find this gets tiresome on the 'ol finger...)

You can view my example here >

(This link may change soon... so please view while can)

The little Flash part in the bottom left corner... click a room... then just "Mouse Over" to scroll.

I think this would be a 'simple' thing to add to FlashPlayer (of course make it a 'plugin' so people can choose if they want the click-hold-pan or just the mouse-over-pan)

Please consider this... as most of the people around me prefer this simple method (as in my biz the ladies of the house are looking through hundreds of homes and it gets tiresome for them to have to hold down the click button every time they have to pan).

Maybe you could make four invisible static hotspots (one on the left and one on the right border that cover 100% of the pano height but only say 10% of the horizontal size, and one at the top and another at the bottom that cover 100% of the horizontal size but only 10% of the pano height), and have a mouseover action pan the pano in the wanted direction? Get what I mean? I'm no coder, so I can't suggest any code here, but this shouldn't be too complicated to do if you know coding?

Besides, you can also use the arrow keys on the keyboard :-)

That is what I do in SwishMax (exactly what you said... with a "dead spot" in the middle so when the mouse is dragged to the middle area it stops moving). And, as the mouse gets closer to the edges... it moves faster... very easy panning... Jeez... now learn how to code FlashPano... I sure would like to... have to find the time!
