Adobe prepares to jump into cellphones.

Would it be possible to run a whole virtual panorama tour in a GPS enabled cellphone to trigger the GPS position of the user and showing the content related to his actual position?

Just a question aside: What should that actually be good for? I mean, OK, personally I've waited my whole life for a cell phone that would finally show me the world surrounding me as a panorama on its screen, so I would never have to look at the boring real world when I'm walking around :-) But I'm not sure if others feel the same...

Just kidding.. Regards, Ph.

The slide is from Prof. Dersch, the "father" of PanoTools.

As stated by Prof. Dersch, these are cellphones that have the tech incorporated to run panoramas. It just has to become 1.)easy to use and 2.)trendy.

Think about that: instead of sending and change ringtones with your friends the advertising companies could switch their viral marketing to include also panos from an event, hotel, restaurant or a new shop... that could be changed amongst cellphone users.
