i'm planning to do a compas for some virtual tours.

any idea of how to make that?

i'm planning to create a flash animation of the compass in AS3, and then include the panos inside.

is it the right way to follow?

Only Hotspots API ( http://flashpanoramas.com/player/hotspotsAPI ) can help you to link panorama parameters (pan/tilt) and your compass artwork.

A Flash application should read pan value several times in second and redraws compass artwork.
