View Full Version : Bug in limits plugin? Won't restrict downward tilt only.

Has anyone managed to get the limits plugin to work with only a tilt_min parameter? Restricting the downward tilt to hide the tripod must surely be the situation where this plugin would be of most use, and yet - for me at least - it simply fails to work. Adding "tilt_max=90" makes it work, but that's no use as it prevents you from looking straight overhead (the top of the viewport stops at 90 degrees - which of course is what the plug-in's designed for). Adding a blank "tilt_max=" parameter also fails to work.

It may be that I'm doing something wrong, but I've tried every conceivable combination with no luck. Is anyone else's experience different?

Thanks.

After a direct email to Denis, I'm delighted to say that he's fixed the problem and produced a new version of the limits plugin that will restrict only downward tilt to exclude the tripod, etc. See the attached zip archive.
