Help me brain storm

Hello everybody.

I just got an exiting opportunity. I have been to a meeting with a Danish newspaper who want to improve their online version with panoramas produced by me. They particulary want to focus on business subjects including profiles of the largest Danish companies - and on politics.

I am about to make a suggestion on how to use FPP for this purpose. They love the interactive stuff - but how can I describe the economical development of the company with FPP? how can I produce charts, surveys and so on within FPP??

And what else can I offer them as interactive presentations of business and political related subjects?

There are a number of solutions for the charts. They could be built as a plugin for fpp: take the data from an xml file, build a chart representation. Also, there is a perl open source program GD, that can do just about the same, and can crank out an on-the-fly jpg, or gif graph of the data. There is also and commercial, spiffier, php program that does the same. So the dynamically generated images could be used as hotspots in the pano. And the same with a graph plugin, but with such a plugin, you'd have the posibility of making things more interactive.
