3D objects

Can anyone tell me how to make a panorama of 3D objects with the Flash Panorama Player?

Flash Panorama Player allows you to display perspective correct scenes -- for 360° object rotation ("Object VR") you'll need to script it yourself in Flash or use software such as Pano2VR or a component like ControlVR.

Not to distract from the subject at hand, but isn't it possible to embed QTVR object photos in a panorama, and have the functionality of rotating them there?

It is possible -- but really, really buggy. At least in my experience -- too many objects all wanting to capture the mouse events.

There was a Japanese user here in the forums a while back who posted an example, which was having issues. Not sure how he ultimately fared.

I am not sure if I understand the question correctly, but if I did, you are asking if you can put 3d objects inside a panorama, to which, the answer is yes. Take a look at villmer.com, for an example.

The doodad on villmer are .swfs, and I think they might be made with papervision3d.

Those are cool -- but man, did they make Safari on my Intel Mac run slooooowwwww. I couldn't really navigate.

It's totally doable -- but just buggy and deep in to the poor performance spectrum. there's a lot of redrawing going on.
