I believe I was around 200'. I don't have the GPS unit installed yet.

It's done with an electric helicopter and my Rebel XTi/Sigma 8mm.

WOW -- this definitely is amazing!! Thumbs up! I am very interested to know more about this technique..

1. What kind of heli do you use? How much did it cost approximately? Is it powered by accus or with petrol? I did a quick look and found an "indoor helicopter" which is run by accus, and it's only about 130 EUR. But I'm afraid that's not the sort of heli capable to do this, right?

2. Aren't you afraid to attach your camera to it (it might fall down)? Where/how do you attach it?

3. How do you manage to avoid parallax errors? And, besides, how do you manage to release the camera (to take pictures)??

Man, I'm really impressed and would love to know more. I'm about to start my own pano business here in Germany and try to figure out additional possibilities to shoot them beside the normal "down-to-floor-shots"...
