FPP version 3 in FFC

Yes I know it's not a joke, this was just the polite way to call it....anyway everyone do what they want...but I didn't like when I read :

Sorry for the confusion... my topic title was aimed at catching the attention of everyone who might otherwise be unvilling to read about anything "FFC" related.

I think there should be other ways to catch attention, not telling that what we are waitting for ( FPP 3 ) is there but only with FFC...but as I said no problem, is not my issue....

I also haven't bought FFC, but I'm getting quite bored of using the editor to manually insert videos and spots...and I've seen and easier way in this FFC video...

So yes maibe this marketing is gonna work for me, and probably I'm gonna buy it for placing in a easiest way the spots and videos...

Again my apologies Jordi... by now you know that I am a sorry ass bastard, who has no respect to offer anyone... and least of all myself. Of course I have to try and make ends meet, and that includes dirty tricks like unfair attention catchers... but I am also honest about the application, and it is no secret that it is riddled with errors and bugs and such things that are a natural result when things are in active development. We really do our best to fix and improve things as fast as humanly possible.

The Phase3 development is truly something that is going to change the landscape of panorama creation software for good. On the 23rd of this month the commercial version reaches it's first birthday, and my hope is to be able to release the first pubilcly available copy of it on that day, or shortly thereafter.

Some very needed improvements will be made in the interface... but unfortunately it is not, and will not be possible to change the size of the interface size of this build... and that is the worst and most problematic issue we have had from the start. We decided on a small interface... and then we "discovered" how much space the FPP tools required... and it was too late to go back... and it's only gotten worse since then.

Version 3 of the program (not even started yet) will be built on international standards and logic. No more making of new paths when it comes to interface layout.

But even with the drawbacks of errors, bugs and an interface that is really botheringly small, the gains are absolutely there for anyone who uses the application.

No other software can match it in functionality and features... none. And with the upcoming changes and version 3 of FPP, the word "competition" will be out of the picture for a few more years.

If I could affort (and could find) more programmers, I would hire them, but panography is a small fringe-society, and it's never going to be "big business"... and most certainly not with the prices we operate with... I don't see the fairness or logic in selling this kind of softare for $500-1000 (as some un-named companies do). This project was started because of my need to have a tool I could use, since code is NOT in my blood.... It has evolved quite a bit, and personally I am very happy with how things have worked... regardless of sleepless nights and all the problems along the way. This is done FOR all you FPP users, and certainly not against you.... my approach is to be visible/heard, rather than silent and unseen.... and that is a negative thing for some people... based on me being a "company selling a product"... Of course I am forced to sell in order to be able to keep the programmer working... and no, I am not a company, corporation or anything in that direction. I am simply a family man trying to make a positive difference for my surroundings (I know I can really fuck things up... but this time I am really trying to do things right).

For as long as I keep my current mindset, I can only be pleasantly surprised... and that is much better than having aimed too high, and only experience disappointments.

That holds true in the software development area at least. In the field, shooting panos, it can indeed be profitable if you are good at what you do (and you are) if you have the right hardware (that you do) and the right software (that you absolutely have)... and if you have good eye for good clients and the correct attitude and sales strategy. Then the world might prove to be just the initial playground. ... don't be surprised when NASA calls you for going on a trip to shoot panos on the moon

NASA did call, but sadly I didn't pass the physical exam... to much Guinness I think. I need FFC like I need my eyeballs, so keep up the good work and keep the updates coming.

Does FFC 2.065 contain all the nice features you were showing off in your video ( http://www.flashificator.com/1/Phase...irst_View.html )? If not then when can we expect it?

BTW, what exactly is "Phase3"? Never mind, I just found the answer on Wikipedia: "[it] is a common method of alternating-current electric power transmission".

Yes, it does the show-off in the pano's, and much more by now.
The video you linked, was the very first view of things to come.... that have come and exceeded the initial ideas in functionality.

The "Phase3" is simply something that slipped onto the work by "coincidence". The programmer had been doing "this" then he did "that"... and then he was to do some looking into the "third thing". When he got to the "third thing"... well, it was easier to call it "phase 3"... the implementation of real time interactivity, dragging and dropping and manipulating hotspots and videos on-screen. That is a first for any panorama software in the world. Simple and true. There are others who are now announcing that it has "first priority" for their commercial release to copy our interactive manipulation of hotspots in real time. But that is natural... without it, any other panorama software creation will be left for dead....

Yes, it does feel good to LEAD THE WAY Everyone else will have to be given the label: copy-cats ... no matter if they deny it or not, because the FACT is that Flashificator was the first to announce such things, and also the first to make it a standard integrated feature.

Yeah, I am being comically mean... but I have EARNED the right to be that way!

So... grab an update and give it a run... the tools you use for manipulating the hotspots are accessed in the top right corner of the preview window:
