Default Why is autorotate jerky

Why is autorotate kind of jerky. I use the following. I've no idea what interval is for. Can somebody explain. I don't get what is says in the tutorials.

<autorotator>
quality = medium
qualityStatic = high
interval = 20
segments= 1
</autorotator>

I dont mean the slow frame rate regular jerkiness you get on a slow machine. Its like it's missing a beat every now and then as it goes round.

Thanks

Masten,

I suspect you are seeing the Flash 10.1 performance issue I mentioned in this thread: Flash 10.1 = bad performance on PC?!?!?! If you could test under 10.0 and 10.1 (Flash switcher on FF is helpful for this) you would know for sure.

BTW, there is no purpose for a qualityStatic setting in the autorotator parameters. If you are using Nidrig's Autorotator2.3 you could have separate quality and quality2 setting for Flash9/10. Otherwise just the quality setting.
