Kelly,

The example I gave you had a 100ms difference between the end of most tweens and the one that fired the next group of motions. Try a larger difference.

I think so, just giving it a glance. I would just run a series of tests to see how changing the time before the end of one set of motion tweens and firing of the next set affects things.

BTW, just want to be sure everyone understands that easing functions like easyIn and easyOut vary the pace of the tween over time, moving faster at first then slower to finish, for instance. By combining easyIn on pano.pan and easyOut on pano.tilt (or the other way around) the motion curve can follow an arc instead of a straight line. Play with it to see.

Thank you Scott for the help.

Can you think of any examples where you've seen smoothly tracking along a very defined path successfully implemented? I'm growing uncertain if smooth + precision is possible.

No. At the same time I haven't tried for that combination, either. My efforts have been toward getting timing and smoothness as correct as possible.
