Default Shaving a Tokina 10-17mm lens

Shaving a Tokina 10-17mm lens, Same works for the Nikon 10.5mm

On a full frame camera this is what you will see before shaving the lens hood on the Tokina 10-17mm lens

Shinning a bright LED flashlight through the viewfinder you can see the areas that need to be shaved off.

After shaving the lens like this you will still have some lens protection and the lens cap will stay on nicely.
Had a problem finding flat black paint before taking this photo.
