Default Split-screen panoramas

It would be nice to have a flash player that could do split-screen panoramas, as Aldo demonstrated with spi-v:

http://fieldofview.com/spv-dev/downl...ns/splitscreen

This would be a great tool for before/after panoramas (I'm working on one right now from some facility renovations for example)

There was an example that did exactly that a while back. I tried to search for it, but came up empty handed. It was made with external controller and appeared in 2 containers on the same page side by side. Hopefully someone else has better luck in locating it.

I think before after with FPP is best made by locking them and using a transition.
Here is a demo.

cbc's method offers a lot more possibilities than the "traditional" before/after. Both are good, but as seen in cbc's example, one can have multiple panos from different times of a before/during/after for comparing, which the traditional one can not offer in the same degree.

Hello,

for now, it is shown to have user feedback and finalize the code in terms of possible problems. I use the current 2.2.

For professional use, you can contact us via the website 360ouest.com.

Best regards,
Cbc.

It’s a bit chunky but I made it using the “embedPano” file that came with FPP.
Just loaded two pano’s and masked out half of the top one.

It has some load errors,
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at split_beta_fla::MainTimeline/loadComplete()

and
Error: Error #1096: XML parser failure: Unterminated element.
at Error$/throwError()
at flash.xml::XMLDocument/parseXML()
at PanoController/parseXML()
at PanoController/completeDatafile()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()

you may need to Reload, Refresh the page a couple of times to get it to work

And I have no idea how to make them both pan and tilt at the same time. Use the keyboard to control it and it works for a little while.

Default panomorphing

Hello cbc- I haven't found any glitches in this yet. It works like SPi-V split-screen, which I am currently using. Aldo's works well on the mac but on my older pc, I have rendering problems even after reducing the cubeface to 768px. This is exactly what we need!
thanks, it looks great!
Dave
