Default hotspot moving ?!?!?!

Hi,

My hotspots are moving slightly with the pano, not much but its annoying me and I can't seem to find the way to get them to be in the exact same spot, and i don't mean static. Its just that when the hotspot is near the left or right corner it is not in the same spot it goes slightly to the left or right.
I use this XML:
spot id="mainDoor1" scaleable="0" url="buttons/hall2Button.swf" pan="90" tilt="10"

Thanks for the help.

The hotspots are my made swfs with AS3

Daniel,

Could you post an example? I'm not sure what you mean by "moving slightly with the pano". But, if the movement is limited to about one pixel total that is unfortunately normal. More than that and it warrants more investigation.

Default moving way much more then 1 pixel

I am using a 1 image, maybe that is the reason. I have seen others using a 1 shot but didn't do the same.
In the bedroom upstairs there is a tv hotspot that is a box and it doesn't move.

Hi Dewdan,

I think i understand what is happen.

Your spot is a flash button "mainDoor1Button.swf", and it is not centered in its space, so it move slightly. I have downloaded you button and i saw it was on the left because a little window opens in the right bottom.

You maybe will do it better by simple png button and put the little picture by xml.

I hope this will help you.

if you ask how to do it in xml, a lot of members will certainly help you.

Regards !

Christophe

Default rightly said

you are probably right, i have to check that.
I know i can do it in XML but I kind of like the bounce bit :-)
I will try to see how I manage. I actually would like to get rid of the round spot and have the whole door to be the hotspot to I might have to rethink the whole bit.

Thanks for the help

I think Christophe is right. It is an alignment issue.

Using the editor find an alignment point for your swf that is centered on the eye. That should hold it in place.

Default pixel placement

You guys were right, I edited the flash and placed the movie to 0.0 and its not moving any more, I am thinking to give up those hotspots, I like the bounce picture but i haven't found a good idea for the actual spot, I don't like the little cilcle, I am thinking of a hotspot that wouldn't scream so much, like a simple rectangle or something. I tried to set that movie into a box and it seems that you can't distort a swf. The movie doesn't play anymore. Maybe I open a new tread about that issue.

Thank you guys for the help.
