Default bug in linked panoramas

I think there's a bug in FPP when you use the linked panorama to load/unload the hotspots for each panorama.

When you click on the hotspot, you are transported to the new panorama with the mouse click event still active. In the new panorama you don't need to click and drag to move the panorama, you just move the mouse and the panorama moves with it.

This behaviour is a problem because you can't have a consistant navigation way, in a panorama you need to click and drag, in the other you don't need to click.

I can't repeat it. What type of event do you use for loadPano action? onClick or onPress?

Denis:

I'm using onClick:

Code:
<spot id="hs1" url="/common/vr/hs.swf?d=Lounge" linked="/props/p1/vr/vr1" pan="65" tilt="0" scaleable="0" smoothing="1" onClick="pano.leash=free;loadPano(panoName=/props/p1/vr/vr2)" />
It seems that this behaviour happens with Firefox (with IE I had no problems).

I will test it later, currently it looks OK in my FF.
I know about some problems in FF with Flash if you have wmode=transparent. Try to remove it.

Denis: I'm using swobject to embed the panoramas and no wmode parameter. This behavior occurs in window and full screen mode. Firefox 2.0.0.7.

Denis: I've tried on IE, Firefox and even Safari. The problem persists and it's really annoying and just makes the whole experience really awful.

I've tried to change the hotspots events to onPress, onClick, onRelease but the problem persists. I've experiemented with the 3 types of LEASH parameters but no luck.

This is my code for embeding the panorama on the webpage (I'm using some php parameters to handle several movies):

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
			var so = new SWFObject("/prop/<?=$_GET['prop']?>/vr/<?=$movie?>", "pano", "750", "470", "9", "#666666");
			so.addParam("allowFullScreen","true");
			so.addVariable("panoName", "/prop/<?=$_GET['prop']?>/vr/<?=$_GET["pano"]?>");
			so.addVariable("xml_file", "/prop/<?=$_GET['prop']?>/vr/vr.xml");
			so.useExpressInstall('/misc/expressinstall.swf')
			so.write("flashcontent");
	</script>
There's no one else complaining about this? I found it? This is really driving me nuts

I think you are using old Hotspots 2.1 with FPP 2.2. Check it, please, you can see all plugins' versions in Flash Tracer log.
