Default Update: Hotspot plugin

Denis made an update of the hotspot plugin that fixes the "whirling issue".
See here for information and download. (I'd make this thread sticky so that anyone see's the update, but I don't know how, sorry).

Regards, Ph.

The same with my panos. I get an ActionScript error in the Flash tracer. I already mailed Denis, let's see what's wrong here...

Since some people (in the whirling hotspots thread) wrote that it's working, I wonder what might cause this error. My XML works just fine (except the "whirling" of course) with the older hotspot plugin version.

OK, so it's finally solved: Denis wrote me:

Oh. I forgot to change the type of object for Box objects! My bad!
and sent me the once-again-updated one. Works like a charm now also with my box spots. :-) I'll post it in the "whirling hotspots"-thread for donwload.

Cool box problem

I updated my hotspots.swf and now my boxes don't react to global onOver and onOut actions

<global onOver="external.autorotator.disabled=1"> not working anymore on box.
Working fine on spots

If i add the onOver action to the box hotspot its ok, but its a bit annoying, since i got quite a few hotspots.
<box id="name" url="buttons/panoframe.png" onOver="external.autorotator.disabled=1" onOut="external.autorotator.disabled=0" onClick="loadPano(movie.swf)"/> THIS WORKS FINE
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hhm, I never use such global events, so I have no idea how to get around this. Maybe you should directly ask Denis (the FPP developer) via e-mail like I did. If this is a bug, he'll surely fix it. I guess it's a good idea to send him that specific XML file and a Flash trace as well so he can see what the problem is.
