think you'd have to make it in Flash if you want it to be semi-transparent.
or get a mask layer added to FFP or just have it as a solid banner.

nothing to stop you having solid corner peaces and a semi-transparent back banner, it's all in how you design your banner

Default simpleTile, simple solution :-)

Hi!

Please check out our plugin:
http://flashpanoramas.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2436

That could be a nice solution to interface design problems.

Because there is no waves in the plugin example file.
(http://flashpanoramaplayer.com/simpletile/)

Look into the xml for the plugin:
<spot id="bar1_left" url="left.png" static="1" align="TL" salign="TL" staticX="50" staticY="5" />
<spot id="bar1_tile" url="tile.png" static="1" align="TC" salign="TC" tile="resizeX,60,60" staticY="5" />
<spot id="bar1_right" url="right.png" static="1" align="TR" salign="TR" staticX="-50" staticY="5"/>

You just specyfiy the margins from the borders of the screen, and the element is rescaled to match that dimensions, you can resize the wndow and the margins are kept right. You can do that in horizontal or vertical manner, or even both.

You can put waves if you like on the left and on the right.
And you can put semi transparent waves also.

:-)

I've seen your example, but this thread is about 100% wave banners
your example is just straight lines

I'd really like to see an example of semi transparent waves....

So you would like semi transparent waves on the left and on the right?

Am I right?

yes with the mediadigital way it's possible to have it transparent.
It seems that the banner start where the left finnish and stop where the right start. Then, you can give an alpha to the both of them. no one is on the other !

Sorry mediadigital

I had totally missed that, I really didnít think it would work (and I think youíre about to prove me wrong), as christophe has pointed out they will all line up nicely.
