Tommy
And that works exactly as it should And my brain would work exactly as it should if it werent' 02:33 and I hadn't been doing this since yesterday morning. I've tried everything several times and am really frustrated. But that does work and I thank you for it.

Right now I have Hans' linked working ... almost. It loads the image with the 1st pano but doesn't load the image with any of the others yet the hotspot area is active and moves the pano to the correct pan/tilt/zoom.

I need to figure that out. Then roll back to a previous version and use LepLep's

Code:
onClick="loadPano(?panoName=pano1&tiltHome=0&panHo me=1);panHomeButton.onClick=panoramaOpeningView1;"
I tried that earlier but probably missed something because of the fatigue.

Pats got four threads all asking the same questions and getting the same answers from different people, and itís still not working for him.

Makes me think heís not asking the right questions.

And as a junior member he should remember that we all do this on a voluntary bases, and itís just nice to finish a thread off with a thank you.

Pat, hope you get it sorted soon, it can be a bit frustrating at to start with.

And that tries to load a pano when the hotspot is clicked (which isn't what I want to do) but it fails on the load.

Tommy's correct syntax for the pan/tilt/zoom values works as does Hans' suggestion to use linked (which works as expected but doesn't display the image except for the 1st pano).

I appreciate everyone's help with this issue. Now I need to lay down before I fall down.

and it was this thread that got me worked up
http://flashpanoramas.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2472

Tuddi and I both gave him the same answer, then he starts a new thread asking the same question and got the same answer from different people. And Hay, that's fine, if you don't understand the answer, ask again

Now LepLep, I know you're just trying to wind me up, and I've been on here for less than a year myself, but my point is that I always try to thank people that offer to help. or they may just not offer next time.

OK here is a working example.
http://www.panoramas.dk/kalkmalerier...ed/flash1.html

There is now an extra "Home" button like Pat's for the first 2 panos which takes you back to the start view.
Very simple done.
Just make the first spot, check that it works and than just copy paste and change the ID,linked=pano and the parameters for tilt,pan and zoom
<spot id="h1" url="nav/home.png" alt="Return to Start" linked="pano/1" depth="12" scale="1" static="1" salign="RB" staticX="-200" staticY="-25" alpha="0.5" onOver="alpha=0.9" onOut="alpha=0.5"
onClick="pano.pan=-90,2000,smooth;pano.tilt=0,2000,smooth;pano.zoom=0 .7,2000,smooth"/>

<spot id="h2" url="nav/home.png" alt="Return to Start" linked="pano/2" depth="12" scale="1" static="1" salign="RB" staticX="-200" staticY="-25" alpha="0.5" onOver="alpha=0.9" onOut="alpha=0.5"
onClick="pano.pan=160,2000,smooth;pano.tilt=15,200 0,smooth;pano.zoom=0.7,2000,smooth"/>

Hans

It looks good from here, but the hard part is to stop it from taking the long way home.

If your pano.pan=175 and you’re at pan -175 it will go the long way round and not go past the 180 point.
