Default logoMeter 3.0

Hi,

I have modified the logoMeter plugin to enable controlling tweens in .swf files for visualizing the pano load process. This way, there is almost no limit to what be shown with the plugin. I made a test page, but I think you can do much better - Flash graphics is not my strong point.

There are only two requirements that has to be met for the swf tween to work in the plugin:
  1. The tween must span 100 frames.
  2. Frame 1 has to contain a stop(); command.

I have also made a few plugin parameter changes.

Plugin page is here.

I must try this one very soon Tommy,

The examples that you have used are killing!

Preloading has now become a thing of the past

Thanks, Ton

Very clever Tommy! I love the car

Thank you for this!

Are 100 frames the minimum or is it the only number of frames - not just a minimum?

There must be at least 100 frames, as the plugin plays the frame that corresponds to the percentage loaded. This will of course mean that - if loading is quick - some frames will be skipped. Exactly as any progress bar works.

If the plugin plays one frame for every percent loaded, that seems to imply (my myopia is showing again) that I'm never going to see more than the first 100 frames, regardless how fast or slowly the pano loads. This rule also seems to imply that regardless of the frame rate of the the original swf, the frame rate will be determined by the load rate. Am I close on either count?

What I had been dreaming about for several weeks: while the pano loads, playing something like this (panocea5.3.2.swf); 365 frames + the first frame with stop(); - originally the document was made at 30 frames per second, but then it seemed less boring at 60 fps. Here's the panocea5.3.1.fla should that be of any interest.

Thank you Tommy for taking the time to answer my questions and for all of your great work.

Kind regards,

Kelly

Below is the code used - can it be modified to allow 1) the entirety of the swf to play, 2) at its target frame rate and 3) display load data?

Code:
<?xml version='1.0'?>
<panorama meta='logometer.3.0.test.1-year2010.day349'>
	<parameters>
		panoName = SV01_files/visualFiles/SessionsVillage
		panoType = cube
		segments = 30
		zoomMax = 1.2
		zoomMin = 0.9
		frameRate = 60
		loaderConsecutive = 1
		loaderTextColor = 65280
		loaderBackColor = 10066329
		loaderBandwidth = 500
		layer_50 = C:\Users\V. Kelly Bellis\Documents\FPP_v2.3\FPP_v2.3\examples\files\editor.swf
		layer_100 = C:\Users\V. Kelly Bellis\Documents\FPP-TommyWirestamsPlugins\logoMeter_files\logoMeter\logoMeter.swf
		</parameters>

	<logoMeter>
		salign=TL
		offsetX=100
		offsetY=100
		imageL=C:\Horizon\images\panocea5.3.2.swf
		imageLPos=0:0
		tweenL=1
		textPos=300:300
		textColor=#000000
		textLoaded=%P%
		textLoadFailure=loading failed
		textParsing=parsing
		font=Arial
		fontsize=20
		reload=1
		delay=10000
		postCommand=global.showText()
	</logoMeter>

</panorama>
