Default future bug: fullscreen does not work in flash beta 9,0,64,0

Denis,

I'm sure you're probably already aware of this, but it seems the full screen mode does not work in FPP2.2 with the current 9,0,64,0 flash beta build.

Just a quick FYI, in case you hadn't noticed.

Question

Can you tell in what way?

Not going fullscreen?
No image showing?

Regards Markus

Hi Markus,

Everything else in FPP 2.2 seem to be working fine in the current Flash Update 3 except for the option to go Full Screen. Simply stated, tours seem to run fine but just won't launch fullscreen, whether it's called from within the hotspot script or from the right click option with "menuFullscreen.swf".

My guess is it might have something to do with the new hardware scaling built into Update 3.

FYI, I was also really hoping to find some performance increases using Update 3, thanks to it's multi-core support, mip mapping, and 2D vector HW acceleration... But sadly I haven't seen any noticeable speed improvements yet. I though that these were automatic performance improvements... but sadly maybe not.

(OK, I know I probably wont get a response... but I'll try)

Denis,

On that same note, do you have any thoughts or plans to take advantage of any of these new features or any of the up-and-coming Flash 10 features like "Astro" and "Hydra"?
