Hi jaaaab,

Yes, this would work along with the cache plugin or any sort of caching. I'm surprised you get that much of a difference. Are you comparing the unencrypted version that doesn't use loaderStreamed=1 and the encrypted version, which is currently using loaderStreamed? If so, that would be the reason why. loaderStreamed definitely slows down the load process, and 15% sounds like about the right number.

Hi,

i'm trying with loaderstream, that's wrong?

15% is not that muche, 1,5s more on a 10 sec loading process...

Will that work with single 360 image projects?

Hi Jaaaab,

When I first posted the "encryption" example, it was buggy and the "encryption" slowed the load process down a good bit. Then I change it around, and found the bugs, now it is SUPER fast in all of my tests, and it is loading with loaderStreamed in the example, but the "non-encrypted" controal example is not using loaderStreamed. Which I could change to be properly scientific, but that's over on the other computer and it'll have probably slipped my mind in the morning... So I am pretty sure that is why you are seeing a measureable difference at all, in theory and in all of my tests it should load with only the most imperceptible slow down, a very small fraction of a second, and by small, I'd guess 1/100.

And yes, this will work with any sort of pano type that FPP supports.

Hello Zephyr,

I am very interested in the possibility of encryption (who of all the panographers isn't?)... Is there already an idea how much your plugin will cost?

Regards, Ph.
